Our Story
The Thompson Electric story begins with a generations-long family passion for electrical work. Jon Thompson, our founder, was privileged to learn from his grandfather Harold Speck, who worked as a master electrician for over five decades. To this day, Harold’s legacy is still evident through the skillful craftsmanship of our technicians and our reputation of treating people with respect.
Based in Lebanon, Tennessee, Thompson Electric is one of the largest and most trusted electrical contractors in Middle Tennessee. Through providing quality electrical work and outstanding customer service, the Thompson name has become the go-to partner for commercial electrical contracting and residential electrical needs.
It’s not just about doing good electrical work, however. Our organization is founded on Biblical principles, and we strive to be a light in the communities we serve. We believe we are called to serve others and are proud to support many non-profit organizations and Christian ministries throughout Middle Tennessee.
